1. PC / SC seems not to work properly – please follow the steps bellow
In Windows 7, 8 and 10 are may be problematic with the service that controls the smart card reader. It is caused by a stopped service SmartCard (in Czech localization Windows service called Čipová karta). In most cases, just the service in Windows service list looks and run. Startup Type must be Automatic.
If you get an error when starting SmartCard, you need to fix the Windows registry as follows:
1. Download: scardsvr.rar – then unpack.
2. After unpacking is created the file scardsvr.reg – double-click on them and than Allow registry changes.
3. Restart the PC.
4. The PC / SC interface requires a smart card reader in addition to the SmartCard service. If you are not using it, you need to connect it at least once and wait for Windows to install the drivers.
